The MEDEX Program for U.S. Government Contractors, NGOs, and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Contractors gives employees direct access to prompt assistance in the event of a medical or security emergency while traveling or living abroad. With MEDEX Assistance, emergency response services are quickly and easily accessible to participants anytime, anywhere.

EXCLUSIONS
The following exclusions apply when either arising from, or are the result of a Covered Individual's willful self-inflicted injury; the abuse of drugs; taking part in military or police service operations; the commission of, or attempting to commit an unlawful act; act of war, invasion, civil war or insurrection; or AIDS, if known to exist prior to departure.
